Special Handling

Draw specimen in pre-chilled tube, place on ice.
Centrifuge 20 minutes 1000xg.
Plasma must be free of RBC’s.
Overnight Fasting is required.
Patient should be relexed in either a supine or upright position before blood is drawn.
