Orderable Name Intergrated Screening Intergrated Screening Test - Prenatal Request

Special requisition form must be completed by the physician's office.

Necessary information includes gestational dating information, maternal weight, race, date of birth, twinning, smoking and diabetic status.

NT measurement needed for full intergrated test

This test will screen for open neural tube defects, Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21) and Trisomy 18.

Special Handling

Two specimens required:

  1. One sample in the 1st trimester at 10-13 weeks for PAPP-A.
  2. Second sample in the 2nd trimester

Quad Test may be done between 15 and 22 weeks of gestation, 16 -18 weeks is optimal time frame.
